There were not many restaurants that had Indian Chinese food available in North Edison. As a result Alok Pratihar who worked with Mogul and Royal Albert Palace decided to open up a small but spacious restaurant in the sugar tree plaza shopping complex located on Oak Tree Road right across the Lincoln Tech. He opened up the restaurant September of 2003. All in all its 2014 and Chopsticks is thriving better than ever. Executive Chef Kenorie Tashi has been working with Alok since they both came in this country. He has been cooking for over 30 years and has perfected every dish at Chopsticks. We have customers coming from around the world just to try out our food and each person has not left the restaurant without a smile on their face. We have a variety of dishes to cater to all nationalites from Thai, Malaysian and Indian Chinese. And a seperate menu for Jain and Swaminarayan.
Alok Pratihar opened up the restaurant in November of 2007. You can find all the far eastern cuisine from Thai, Malaysian and Indo-Chinese all under one roof. The menu includes typical Chinese sweet corn soup, hot and sour soup, manchow soup with varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers and main entree such as drums of heaven, chili chicken dry, paneer satay, veg manchurian gravy, mix oriental vegetables in hot garlic sauce.
We serve and cater both Jain, Swaminarayan, Kolkata Chinese and North Indian food.
